Key Activities

The organisation is focused on individuals, businesses and the education sector, in the Midlands region of Ireland, creating awareness and stimulating interest in international trade, education and cross-border co-operation. It opens minds to the possibility of growth internationally and between the two jurisdictions on the Island of Ireland. Through special initiatives, pro-active support, exchanges, micro-trade missions, coaching and mentoring it builds confidence and competence in individuals and organisations, enabling people to develop business and education links internationally and regionally, using dedicated partnerships developed by Atlantic Corridor.

Atlantic Corridor has been funded and supported since its inception funding from the Department of Foreign Affairs has allowed the organisation to grow and develop as a unique value-added development agency in the Midlands region, providing cross-border and international links for a variety of projects. The project is managed by a board of 10 members, representing the fields of enterprise, education, tourism, research and consultancy. A skilled and motivated staff of 3 people presently works for Atlantic Corridor, bringing with them a diverse range of experience that benefits the project enormously.

If you feel that your company, educational institute or local development activity would benefit from the value which cross-border and international linkages can bring, I would urge you to contact Atlantic Corridor.
